Uns 90 mixed reef build thread

Finally getting my uns mixed reef project going:

This is where I am so far-

hydros we2 and hydros launch 4
Return is various 4 direct drive to we
Protein skimmer is reef octopus sss 150 direct drive to we
Ice cap 4K
2 200w brs heaters
aqua scape from reefscape designs
Radion xr30 with diffuser and custom 3d printed shade.

Loving it thus far. Just started cycling.

I would highly recommend reefscape designs. I tried building a negative space aqua scape and failed miserably. I’m not artistic and couldn’t get the look I wanted.

They fit! The magnetic door works fine without any obstruction. The depth of the xp8 and launch with plugs attached does not allow for use of section covers. The wave engine will fit with an overlying cover. I may remove the xp8 and put my two remaining power adapters in the lower section with the wave engine and hide with a cover.

I'm about to order the UNS R90 tank and I'm looking on getting the rock work from Reefscape designs as well.
