We ordered coral online for the first time ever and they arrived on Tuesday. We are so pleased. We got great coral for fabulous prices. I mean, a ten head duncan frag for $34! A frag of mixed zoas that appear to be blue tubs and then some kind of green skirted kind (maybe eagle eye) for about $13 and our rainbow ricordea which already has two mouths and looks ready to split soon for $14.98. Then they also sent a fourth piece of coral we didn't order so we don't know what it is but it looks like some type of xenia. Everything seems to have acclimated well and the duncans come out more and more each day. So for our first experience with online ordering it was great. The delivery wasn't so great. The fedex guy never rang the bell and left the box upside down on the porch but hubby was watching for the truck so thankfully it didn't sit outside and the water was still warm when he opened the box from the heating packs. Everything was also triple bagged and packed well. I'm sure we'll be ordering online again in the future!

The neatest thing about this place is that our local reefers club just asked this place to be a sponsor and they agreed. So now all future orders will have a discount applied to them. Awesome.

Wow, sounds like a great place. What's the name of this place? If you don't mind me asking? Those are some great prices.

Yeah, interested in where you ordered from. I've had a lot of luck ordering online, but I've also had things not make it as well, but thats rare. Congrats on the new corals, always fun to sit and watch the window for the FedEx truck, haha. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who does that, haha

We got those corals from www.cosmicaquatics.com and we are still very happy with them. Hubby had to frag the zoas as there were 3 heads that wernt bluetubs on the rock. It was his first time fragging and we both had a great time doing it. Watch for a good laugh!

Nice, I've never heard of that site, I'll have to take a look. Should have left them on, its fun to have different colors grow together :)

where all the snow is coming down, schenectady. Have about 7" fallen today so far and expecting more than a foot tomorrow.

THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITH OUT PICTURES!!!!

Now with that said.... glad you are happy. Nothing like the feeling of getting new stuff for the tank!!

Please post pics when possible.

I have never realy been happy with online ordering it all depends on who your order from and just make sure there a good guy almost all the sponsers on here i would not have one doubt ordering from them.

Those look really good! I was thinking of ordering from there for a little while now! I believe I will go and place an order now. They have some chalices I have been wanting! Glad to know they do a good job packing!!

BTW what kind of wrasse is that in the next to last picture?

They all look good!
And they should get even better after they fully settle in your tank.

Looks like a Red Tail Flasher wrasse to me, but I'm no wrasse expert. Regardless, it looks great.

Great looking corals, I may have to give them a try some day! I agree that looks like a Flasher Wrasse to me too.

Its the resident bully of the tank, a McCroskers Flasher wrasse. As of now, its the biggest fish in the tank. That will change once we get our dwarf angel in there. Trying to decide between a coral beauty and a flame angel.

Hmmm Dwarf Angels are bad ju ju in my book, they can be a model citizen or be a total nipper. I have always ended up with the latter.

congrats I've been so scared to buy coral offline but I think I'll making my first internet purchase here soon. there is just so much out there that I like but I can't get locally.

I buy all my critters and corals online, I have no LFS... I haven't ever had a real bad transaction that the seller refused to make good on. It is pretty rare to hear of vendors going to the dark side...

What I liked about this place, besides the awesome prices (I mean 10 heads of Duncan for $34 when our LFS had a 5 head duncan frag for $150!) is that you see pictures of what you are actually buying for most of the stuff. No "representative" photo of what it might look like. We do eventually plan on changing our lights so that we get closer to the colors that were pictured on the website. I will say whoever delivered them must be blind and or/stupid. The box had an arrow saying which side was up which they ignored completely and they never rang the bell to let us know the box was there. If huby hadn't been watching for the delivery it could have sat on the porch in 30 degree weather for gosh knows how long. The Duncans have taken a good 2 weeks to really decide they like it in there and come fully out. The dang skunk shrimp steals all the mysis we try to feed it too.
