I am going to ask for prayers and good vibes. I am having surgery next week. I found out a few months ago that I have a meningioma, which is a type of brain tumor. I have kept quiet about it because R2R has been my escape from the stress of it. I am scared silly. I am keeping it together most of the time. But it consumes my waking thoughts unless I am reading or at work. Here is a picture of the most recent MRI.

I'm just seeing this now. I will definitely keep you in my prayers.

Any idea how long the recovery period is?

Any idea how long the recovery period is?

If everything goes well, and I am sure it will. I will be in the neuro icu for 3-5 days. Then off work for 6-8 weeks. The neurosurgeon uses the newest MRI GPS technology to navigate during the brain surgery. I hope he played many video games when he was a kid!

I am not sure how long before I feel well wnough to care for my tank. I am a little anxious about that too. My husband said he will update my thread about how I am doing. I might even include an unflattering post op photo as a sympathy grab. I am going to have to wait and see how my brain and headaches are after surgery to see how well I tolerate the scrolling.
