Hi all. I just soaked 2 xpower heads in 50/50 of water and vineager. They are all cleaned and look brand new. I rinsed with tap water and have rinsed again with rodi water but i still ha e a faint smell of vineager in them. Is it ok to place back into the tank or do i need to keep rinsing until the smell is gone?

It will be fine. I dose vinegar on a daily basis as a carbon source. That amount of vinegar will not have any ill effects on your tank.

Had my power heads on a 1.1 vinegar water bath earlier today. Rinsed them under the sink and back into the tank they went.

Vinegar is a form of carbon dosing.
