Do you guys find that the high par helps with the yellow polyps? Also any difference in growth?

My friend broke down his tank recently and gave me his high end stuff so long as I give him a frag in a couple years. Confetti is one of them. He got it directly from vivid from a facebook auction. He didn't feed his system much at all so a lot of stuff that was pale in his tank gets some more colors in my tank. I think this has been in my tank 2.5 weeks and the pink is getting deeper for sure!

It's almost time for me to frag my colony. I think it's a few days away from starting war won't my RCA Baton Rouge colony...

Time to frag and put a piece lower to see if you get any green. I have mine super low and I believe some green is starting to come in.

I had that exact same idea. I have a coral I split into 3 and put in different areas of the tank. You wouldn't know they were the same coral since they have different color and growth depending on their position in my tank. Time to start experimenting where the best placement of my confetti is!

Here's a nub that my naso broke off my main frag. I put it in the frag tank back under LEDs. Got a hint of green.

My confetti its doing a whole lot of encrusting. It doesn't help that my giant naso bulldozed it a month back and knocked off two branches of vertical growth. I only found one piece and made a frag out of it.

My nub has done nothing but encrust for the past few months. The color is getting really nice though. I have this at the top of rockwork getting 450 par from an Orphek Atlantik v4. As you can see, taking photos under 20k looks closer to their pics. Even under 10k it is a beautiful piece.

Thanks for the color comparison under 20k! It looks fantastic. Mine is encrusting a bunch as well but branches seem to be forming so I see it hopefully exploding soon.

How about a few photos of our confetti mini colony. This one was kept under much higher par than our original mother colony. The more par the more pink. Original mom is still kept under 260-280 par this one is kept under 400+

That is gorgeous colony. I'm adding this one to my list of must haves for sure.
