Maybe run without a filter if it's just a week?

Its probably what I'll do next time just to make it easier on the house sitter. That along with decreased feedings, should be okay for at least a week I would say.

My question is slightly unrelated, but where did you find a roller filter for a wb peninsula

What about 4 weeks?

That's a heck of a summer vacation. Lol!

In that case I'm not sure. I would say with minimal feedings, and no filter. I would think the system would be okay. But I've never done anything like this for that amount of time so definitely see what others say

I personally wouldn't have pets if i was taking a month vacation. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Innovative marine just put a couple out. Not sure they’d fit the water box. I have an IM peninsula waiting for it to come in.
Btw, how y’all like that ice cap skimmer? I got one off Amazon from mag tools, it’s the bigger one for nano tanks . Seems to work pretty well, skimmate ain’t dark dark but my bio load isn’t too heavy. P
