RODI was used and yes he’s been eating daily. Not like in my DT before but still eating

yeah at first I was like “o ****, he’s brown” now in the video he seems back to his normal color. Didn’t think clowns sleep in a cocoon or change color.

Did the lights go on too suddenly? Is it still breathing slower?

He’s ramming into the tank sides and Looks pale

the light is just a rigid work light I use to check in on him

he is breathing heavy now after looking better this morning

I fear he may die

Here he is a few minutes later

No, he is still breathing fairly rapidly. Does that tank have any hiding places in it? The fish seems very uncomfortable.

O.K., what happens if you dim the lights? Some people say that fish with Amyloodinium (velvet) become sensitive to light. I've not seen that myself, but the rapid breathing is a symptom that goes right along with that. I saw your other thread, don't back off on the copper, you aren't at therapeutic dose yet, so it isn't copper toxicity.

With no lights on he just sits at the bottom.
The cupramine directions say 10 drops day one and then 10 more 48 hours later then wait for 14 days. I am under .5 as I just tested. Also tested ammonia just in case and that showed 0

Not sure if crashing into glass or lethargic . Way below needed dose

Yeah it was weird. I am just worried he got worse through the day and was near death in that first pic tonight.

also doesn’t help first thing I find online says clownfish turned pale in QT and died

he’s our oldest fish so really don’t want to do any harm to him

also what is the needed dose for cupramine? The directions would tell me I’m done adding

I’m sorry, but the clown sounds like a goner. It stinks when it’s an original fish. It’s likely, based on that video, that he has an hour, maybe two, left in him. However, I have seen anomalies in fish, so never give up hope, and always keep fighting.
