Definitely in my top 5 favorite coral. Love the colors, movement and growth patterns.

Favorite LPS that’s a tough one!!!

Out of the corals that I have personally had I have to say my favorite is the hammer. I had a gorgeous pink hammer that I haven’t seen since and I need to find one!

Personally I love all euphyllia and will slowly be adding more to my tank in the coming months to year.

Most exciting to me is torches! I haven’t owned one yet due to pricing but have a plan to purchase a nice one in October if tank continues to do good!

The old euphyllia garden I had going before the year got crazy hectic and I lost most of my corals sadly.

Really nice. I like your acan as well!

I wish you the best in getting things back up and running. I’ve had my share of sad events in this hobby as well.

Right now it is thisawesome coral my wife picked out. It seems very hardy and it seems to be getting more colorful. Overall, though, I'd say encrusting chalices like Echinopora, Oxypora, Mycedium, that kind of genus I really find fascinating

That’s a nice bubble coral! Mine just doesn’t seem to grow. How long did it take to get to that size? Any recommendations?
Thanks. I've had this one for over six years. I did target feed PE mysis for the first few years. It gets just enough flow to move around a little almost like a slow jello type of wiggle if that makes sense? About 150 - 200 par and it's just been a nice stable piece for me.
Just for reference this is when I bought it.

I love the motion in the tank LPS can provide. I love Hammers, so many nice colors and hardy, haven’t lost a head yet. It’s hard to not give the top spot to the torch though. I bought my first a couple months ago, a two head, and one head died the first week. I guess it didn’t tolerate the shipping and transition to the new tank. That really stings when torches cost so much but the healthy head is thriving and splitting already. I just love the sway of the tentacles in random flow and they also have some very nice color options. Wish they were hardier.

Multicolor Trachys for me.

Not my pic
IMG_9141.jpeg
Trachys are wonderful and great but man they lack the movement that lps usually have for me!

This is mine and I plan to have it until it dies of old age! I got it for a steal of a deal and has been super Hardy! Excuse the algae I’m working on it.

I’ve fortunately had great luck with my torch. I’ve had mine for almost two years, since I was a beginner, started off with 2 heads and now has 10-15+ heads. One of my favs, because the long tentacles sway all around, providing so much movement in the tank. My emerald crab also likes to hide in the tentacles, which is cute.

I also love the thick bifurcated tentacles on the frogspawn. You can sometimes see some of that on hammers as well. What about FRAMMERS (frogspawn/hammer hybrids)!
Got a pic of your torch?
