Have a bunch of these on the glass at night. When the light comes on they will let go and float off.

After looking closer these seem to have eyes which would count out flatworm.

At first I thought they were just some of the many chiton I have. As I looked at them I could tell they were different. I'm thinking some kind of nudibranch as well. I found them in the corners of the tank where the mag float won't get so I'm also guessing they're herbivores.

Post #4 you're looking at them through the glass, right? That's their underbelly?

It's the top because I pulled a few out and put them in a cup. I was really hoping you would see this and chime in. Limpets sound good to me!

With the new info/clarification, that's not a limpet.

Did you say you saw eye stalks? If not, and those two black dots are markings, I think it's a chiton. Chitons often have little dots like that. It has 8 segments.

If you saw actual eyeballs, I withdraw my guess. LOL!

I was guessing the two black dots were eyeballs. What throws me off is the shape of the head on these. They have a hammerhead.

Stomella snails. I think that's how you spell it. Search for good hitchhikers

Could be. I haven't seen any stomatella in this tank for quite a while. One of the crashes wiped them out. Maybe they're making a comeback
The hammerhead on these are what's throwing me off. It's not really right for stomatella

I got fish staring at me because they've already seen the feeding stick, but when I'm done I'll show you my fancy photoshop skills...... by fancy I mean really really bad.
