Just curious what it is? My guess is some kinda worm colony. It has been spreading to another rock that is very porous. I noticed it 4 -5 years ago but It disappeared for a few years and now it has been slowly recolonizing.
What is it? It doesn't seem to effect growth of corals it in counters.
I think it's kinda neat cause it sways I'm the current . At first I thought it was HA, but when I reach down to touch it, it all goes in the rock.

I'll try to get better pics tonight when I'm home.
It looks more like peach fuzz then an actual polyp, but I'll investigate closer

Without being able to see good detail of the animal it really hard to say.
