I think when you feed your fish though that is technically dosing nutrients.Don't dose nutrients.

I’m starting to think you’re on to something. I’ve dosed it on and off, and not sure the juice is worth the squeeze…Dose phyto.
(Okay, not everyone does but a lot do and I find it a total waste)
Props to you for not running an ATO. I could not imagine my tank without oneI do not have an ATO. My ocd makes me add half gallon r.o. to sump every 2 days for years.
I go by a black marker line on sump. Haha. Yep, I live on the edge.
Never had wild swings. Salinity stays at 1.024. I use a Hanna checker once a week and when I mix up saltwater.
Always. But,to each his own.
