I'm 58.

I've been keeping fish almost continuously since my parents gave me my first ten-gallon tank. It came with a steel frame, slate bottom and a filter-box filled with glass-fiber "angel hair". Started saltwater with natives and damselfish somewhen in the seventies, when I was in High School, and had disposable income, but backed off to freshwater while I raised my own kids.

My granddaughters get to look at saltwater fish and corals when they visit.

Depends on who you ask. I would never just buy a car and leave it stock. :)
Very True! I have an AWD lancer, but it's non turbo, and I would love to turbo it but I don't have $4,500 :)

Yep, I remember some of mine done that way.

Wife’s is on the 2nd of December. Two kids in November. Other two kids in January. Holidays at the flipper house is a huge money drain, but worth every dime.
We have that in march/april . Son, Daughter and myself in 6 days.. Easter is somewhere in there most of the time.. now that the kids are older and out of the house not quite as much of a drain.

I remember those tanks well because I saved up and bought one at Woolworth's about 55, yes, 55 years ago. The store clerk was trying to convince me that a live bearer mollie would successfully breed with an egg laying zebra danio - I thought something was wrong and that started me reading everything I could find about freshwater fish. So, now I'm 70 and have three saltwater nanos including a Biocube 32 and a 90 gallon Amazon biotope.

And my granddaughters race upstairs to see how the fish and corals are doing whenever they're here.
