Hey I went to the beach today and saw a bunch of little snails on a rock and thought to myself why not? Can someone id them to see if they're safe

They are probably used to cooler water and will not last in reef aquarium temps. The may also be intertidal and escape.
I made the mistake of trying this from taking wild snails (California) and it was for sure too warm and they spent most of the time out of the water. I felt really badly

[emoji23] Topanga beach in California
Just FYI collecting marine life without an SCP in California is very illegal, I would return them if I were you. Plus they are coldwater and WON'T live in your tank. I do have a field guide and I might be able to ID if you're still interested

Edit: Likely Littorina keenae

Haha when I got them they climbed out of the bucket so I ended up tossing them back
