You get occasional lizards in Elsinore!

Otherwise.. My brother has a parrot, that counts I think
I don’t count the lizards. My neighbor did find a California king snake this year. She came to warn me about it. I told her they are harmless and are good to have around

What's some of the coolest wild animals you've spotted in your neighbourhood? Or have you heard of any interesting wildlife news around you? Share them here!

To start off, on my recent trek in my local nature reserve, I've spotted a Malayan Palm Civet, a family of Smooth-Coated Otters, an Oriental Pied Hornbill, and a flock of Coconut Lorikeets :)

Also, a Malayan Tapir had recently been sighted in the island, the first in many years!

I think your list is going to be hard to beat.

From Michigan. No animals were harmed in these pictures. Thermal scope is for coyotes only.

That is a lot of patient hummingbirds. In my area I have to place feeders on opposite sites because they dive bomb one another and a dog fight starts. Court yard is too small for them to be flying so fast so did this to try and give space. Still usually only see one per feeder at a time - never the 6 or 7 that you are showing. Impressive.

That was the only time we’ve ever seen them do it. Usually 1 or 2 at a time and they cause each other.

A pic I took by a lagoon near the pool in my neighborhood. There is literally hundreds of these birds and other water fowl lining the waters edge.

Don’t hear many frogs though?

Oh! I totally saw a TURKEY in my parking lot right in Longwood the other day-- we are like 10 minutes from Orlando, so I was pretty surprised. But ye olde farm girl in me was thrilled.
