Wire Management - How to use ALL of your power strip outlets

Not too long ago I ran into the problem of not being able to use all of my outlets on the power strip, because of an AC adaptor covering a part of one, but upon doing some research this is what I found out which remedied the issue.

I have a fish room where everything is setup so its not really applicable, its very specific with half of it hooked on a shelf. I would recommend just using some inexpensive metal brackets from Home Depot or similar and bolt it to that after screwing them into the top of your stand. Obviously be sure your screws are an appropriate length so you don't screw into the tank.
