Acans and Zoa's, get the 6 for sure! I have 6 overdriven on my 90, SPS grows outta this world, but Acans melt. I would say a TEK 6 bulb fixture, or ATI also 6 would be great. You can also keep SPS under a regular high output 6 bulb fixture, you just have to place them carefully.
Yup, I think that would be perfect. The 6" on either end will not be significantly darker then the rest of the tank to your eye, and it will give you a place to put NPS (Non-photosynthetic) corals, like dendro's, Rhyzo's, etc...
ATI Blue + or Aquascience 22K. I would do 4 of those, and 2 Aquablue Specials, or maybe 1 75-25 and 1 Aquablue special.
I have 4 "blue" and 2 "white" bulbs on my tank, and not 1 is a "daylight" bulb. Personally I think those bulbs are useless for your display tank.
