So Rakie as per out side conversation (getting trace elements back into my system)

I did an extra Water Change 15% (even though not due for bi-weekly).

After tank mixing up my N=15 and my P=0.18
I feel more comfortable at those levels.

The Water Change will help with Trace Elements too, and I should see Algae coming back on the Glass.
For SHORT TERM, I will add a under-dose of Fuel as you suggested.

But LONG TERM, I'm going to re-start my AUTO WATER CHANGER.
I built it for my 65G Tank since I hate buckets, and the bigger water changes every other week.
Now with Bigger Tank 110G, it even make more sense.
Goal is 5 Gallons Automatically 1-2 times a week for a total of 20-40 Gallon Effective Water change PER MONTH (ie 13% or 25% depending on frequency).

That should help with N&P level and all needed Trace Elements.

Final Set of *NEW FRAGS* Completes my Tank Setup Wish List (Mid Level Montis)

These Frags were on my Wish List to Complete the DT (and leave it alone for a while)

Got them Today.

29500244757_9868a69c4f_b.jpg

I went to get the Two Monti's since I have most free space at Mid Level.

The Acro Selago appealed to me for it's unique shape.

The Red Planet and Fox Flame, were too tempting to leave behind (Both were always on my Long Term Wish List)

Yup Tank is crammed to the Tilt (approx 40Frags) but I found a few spots for them get Started.

MAGMA Wrasse (QT to DT) BAILOUT [[* FALSE ICH SCARE ** ]]

This is a First for me.

I had to bail out on the Magma Wrasse Transfer to DT.

He looked fine when I did an inspection before Starting.

I caught him into a JAR, and was dong my 3rd 5 minute Acclimatization 1/2 Jar TOP up.

I peeked inside and notice he didn't look normal. (LOOKED LIKE WHITE ICH SPOTS ALL OVER)

*** FREEKED ME OUT, since I almost put him DT with my healthy Fish **

So I got my Camera and took a CLOSEUP PHOTO.

30592109718_d934cc5793_c.jpg

In the Tiny Camera viewfinder it looked like he was all covered in ICH.

I bailed out and put him back into QT.

Waited a while for him to calm down and took another photo (IN HIS QT).

42652758780_8307a7f3b5_c.jpg

He looks normal and ICH free. Those were white marks and patterns/lines on his body.

In a photo I took a while ago, the white marks were not as prominent. (That's why I was caught Off Guard)

42652757190_c6da707bd1_z.jpg

I guess he was stressed with the Capture and was kind of flashing flesh colors/skin tectures more drastically.

Could also be he is maturing and molting into an adult.

This is my first Juvenile Wrasse, and Wrasse in General.
You always learn new stuff in the amazing hobby.

Oh well.....The Magma Wrasse gets another day or two in QT since I want him to calm down. NOT Stress him twice in one night. LUCKY HIM.

One Tank SIDE VIEW PHOTO (Never done a reference before)

I never leave my desk much, so never really look at the SIDE VIEW.

One photo for future comparison.

42653827630_3cd6076e64_b.jpg

And I retook the Front View with All the New FRAGS.

43553433995_9f4ca3e47e_k.jpg

I ALSO "Hacked up the Pink Millie" that was on the Bottom Right. It was bleaching from bottom. (Not enough light), so move the left over piece center/back/UP.

Not sure if it's the Increase Lighting, or the last Water Change (or both), but I see a sparkle of improvement on all the Frags (Especially at Actinic Blue LED TIME)

Coraline Algae is coming along everywhere too.

MAGMA WRASSE (Take 2) Makes it to DT

He didn't fool me this time with his ICH Camouflage Disguise.

30613854908_b8e67951f2_z.jpg

But having Experience the Half Way move yesterday, he was much more relaxed.

30613854388_f60415e254_z.jpg

Didn't cower in the Corner of the Container like yesterday, and actually swam around exporing.

HE IS IN DT, and The OTHER Fish Hardly noticed him. He dodged around looking for a place to hide, but calmed down quickly.
Is already Exploring somewhat peacefully.

Tank TOP NET SEALED DOWN for (No Jumping out)

Yipee!! :) No more QT. Only two tanks to maintain again.

Never Seen this Before ( EMERALD CRAB's Powerful Claw ARMs ) [ Cleaning a moving POWERHEAD ]

The Algae Supply is running out on the rock with Two Emerald Crabs doing Excellent work.

The Larger One does wave his claws for my attention and I do feed him NORI

But today it's waving caught my attention since it was VIGEROUS.

First he was on a rock reaching or catching the stuff.

Then later I notice he got right on the Pump.

I turned off the pump so he could clean it.

TAKE 2 on the EMERALD CRAB on Power Head (Longer Video) Full Music Track

After I watched the video, I realized my bad "Zero Edit" cut off the nice Sound Track made by YRON SPARKS which was no justice.

I turned on the lights dimly and the Crab was still on the power head (bored).
Soon as I turned on Pump he got back into Action. (Guess the flow brings out the Algae Strands that he can't reach inside pump)

Got a few more clips of nigh time CUC in action. Copperband Butterfly was out patrolling too.

Here is a longer version (no editing, but the music fills in my bad video photography segments nicely)

Crazy cool
Yeah it is. Amazing how determined and powerful he is.
The Emerald Crab is still on the pump (right now) waiting for me to turn it back on.

I guess he is telling me that my tank is Algae Free (which I can see thanks to him and his younger Brother).

I better start feeling him more Nori, or pull out some Macro Algae from ATS.

Another option I'm thinking about is pulling him (larger Emerald) out and moving him to Kitchen tank which has plenty of algae.

P.S. (I posted a Thank to SPARKS music author, and he really liked the video with his music on it)

Actually....I seized the Opportunity.

Easy Catch removing the PUMP :)

43630965205_c2d081e53c_c.jpg

My kitchen Tank has a bit of Turf Algae Patch, and starting some Bubble Alage (Valonia) which he will Enjoy, and clean Tank for me.

44540067281_a144f1251c_c.jpg

Works out perfect, since the Smaller Emerald in SPS Tank will now have more Algae for Himself.

NEW SPECIAL FRAG ( Orange Anacropora ) Won VIA Golf Tournamenet (Longest Drive )

I didn't actually win the Frag at a Golf Tournament, but I have been playing a Yearly Tournament for over a Two Decades with my University Buddies.
I never even got close to winning Longest Drive, or Closest to the Pin, but this year I got lucky with a Perfect HIT and out shot everyone.

And on the way home I was pondering what to do with the $ Winnings, which should be SPENT on something for ME!!

So I decided to drop where I get Frags and get a Frag that has caught my attention for a long time, but never bought it.

44514819012_74b77ba952_c.jpg

It;s a Orange Anacropora. Green is the more common Anacropora (Green Goblin), and it didn't impress me as much as this Orange.
(I look up Orange Anacropora but couldn't find it. Slimeball isn't quite the same as this one)

The picture doesn't do it justice (for what you see with your eyes). It still fairly decent looking under T5 Lights like in photo above.....

But under Actnics/Blue Lighting mixed in it really Glows Brilliant Orange, with Blue Hue Shading.

I'll see if an overhead shot will be a better photo.

GOOD OLD Cheap ($10 RGB LED STRIP) Tank Photo (Color Representation Better)

I was tearing down QT and took down my Cheap LED STRIP (made from RGB 5050 Strip Tape).

I used to use it for Photos when MH lights were too strong.

So I tried it on the New Tank for Photo.

29669867527_5b618b5045_h.jpg

It's not prefect for Focus/Resolution since Not very Bright.

But it does reflect the True Colors of the Frags (very Similar to what I see with my eyes)

I would never use this STRIP full time (Dangerous for Algae Blooms), since RGB stand for Red Green Blue (there is no White LED), it just appears WHITE when all 3 LED are on.
Too much RED last time got me in Algae Trouble.

Fish Inventory (Photo Album)

Wasn't easy to get them to STAND STILL..... but I got a Fresh Photo of each Fish (except the Magma Wrasse who is hiding but peeking out)

42817480900_af81ee6a8d_b.jpg

Doing anything I can to keep distracted (Hands out of tank....and Speed up Watching Frags Grow Slowly).

More Good NUTRIENTS for TANK (Nori and Gourmet Grazer) [ Yellow Tang and NOW Wanatabei Angel :) ]

So I rediscovered something that's been sitting on a my shelf for a while.

My Nori Feeder (Innovative Marine Gourmet Grazer)
http://www.innovative-marine.com/auqa-gadget/gourmet-grazer.html

and my packet of Two Little Fishes Green Seaweed.
https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/green-sea-veggies-seaweed-sheets-two-little-fishies.html

I want to feed more, and nothing is better for Corals then Fish Waste from Fish Eatting Nori (Seaweed)

The Feeder is ideal since it doesn't waste the Seaweed and polute the tank with fragments floating around.

Fish can come back for a bite all day long.

And here is the best part......Not only is the Tang eating it ferociously, so is the New Angel.

30776187218_6c8db8dbb2_b.jpg

The Emerald crab and other CUC can polish it up overnight.

A few other fish have sniffed, but they might also learn from Copycat Learning.

Oh wow, your N and P are that high and your algae isn't growing? They need some metals! More importantly, your corals need some metals, that the greedy fat algae is eating up.

I have noticed that the more and faster algae I get on the glass, the better the corals will look.
Although I hate to clean glass, I have to admit it is a good indicator for nutrients.
Added some Mg the other day as it was below 1220 and this week I had to clean glass every other day instead of every 4 days.
Coral colors up better as well.

FIRST EVER (TOP DOWN) Frag Photos

I have been wanting to do this for a while, but my Net Top Makes it tough.

I pulled it back a bit and crammed my Camera with Viewer in for a few Reference Photos of Frags.

These are not show stopper quality, but for me at least they are alive. (APPEARS LIKE A BIT of ENCRUSTING :) )

So true. My Algae on glass just took off again, and corals do look better too.
Interesting Coincidence. I also raise my mag from 1250 to 1280.
That when my Algae started, and my Calcium Consumption also increased.
I used Aquavitro IONS to raise MAG, so it also has Strontium and Boron.
..and I don't mind the glass cleaning, if better frags is the price to pay.

So now the brown side-ways-looking frags look way better!
Nice wally!!
Thanks Janci. They are improving bit by bit every day. Even sideways now.
Even noticing more glow each evening when Actnics come on.
Tank kind of glows with Frag Tips everywhere.
It's neat to see, since I only had STN/RTN with SPS for a couple of years (in old tank).
