It depends on the dimensions of the tank.

I run 3 xr30’s and a 4bulb t5 setup i think my xr30’s are at 30%. Maybe get a hybrid fixture with it. I got a referb 61” for like $200 from the manufacturer. Which is the same price as the ecotech mounts.

I want to say my par at the bottom is 150-200 peaking at 350 on top of rocks. Assuming you can blast the xr15’s you will probably be ok for lps.

I also got my xr30’s g6 lightly used here for $550 each which isnt much more than new xr15’s

They are sold out of the black but have white available.

Yah-corals seems fine-just don’t seem to duplicate-

Par was like 50-100 on bottom and about 150 in middle and about 200-225 with what i currently have

Was thinking maybe just supplement

You should be plenty fine for softies and LPS with those measurements. You should look elsewhere for growth issues. Alk and cal stable?

Those PAR readings sound great to me.
If everyone happy, no touch.

How often is the tank fed? Do you know the nitrate and phosphate level? The lights sound fine.

Feed the tank daily

Tank parameters
Alk 9.2

Calcium 500

Magnesium for some reason 1500 on recent test

Phosphate .15-.2-recently put on a media reactor and dropped it to .03 so i removed it

Nitrates run about 18-24

Use salifert tests and hanna checker for phosphate and nitrate

lol those corals look fine. If anything I'd make sure you are dosing trace elements but other than that I don't see anything wrong.

DO YOU USE A PAR METER WHEN PLACING NEW CORAL IN YOUR TANK?

  • Yes! I think it's important for the longterm health/growth of my coral.
