I got out of the hobby, sold everything off, and I want back in badly. Before I got out, I bought a 30 cube for $100 bucks, I set it up, and it fell apart, so I just left it. I now am setting it back up, I've got 2 wild Ocellaris clownfish on order, as well as a sweet blue tip elegance coral. (won't be in the tank for awhile). But here is the start of the tank build! More pictures coming up soon!

First picture I've taken of the tank, this is what were working with.

Cool little tank. Looking forward to seeing it full.

Just curious on why the wild clowns instead of tank bred?

Thanks, I plan on putting mainly LPS in the tank, few SPS...maybe some monti's or maybe some birdsnest, aside from that, not many SPS.

The wild clowns are for a few reasons. For one, their color is alot richer and deeper. They a will also pair faster, I ordered in 3 inch one and a 1.5 inch fish, this should insure a good pair. The LFS locally orders in VERY small CB ocellaris clowns, and I have had bad luck with them getting sucked to the maxi mod, so I wanted to be sure I didn't lose these! Lol, if these breed, which is part of my plan, so I'll be giving back to the hobby.

Cool, I was just curious on it...no bad intentions :) I was thinking that they would probably pair better than a captive bred.

With all the captive bred clowns available I'm surprised that they'd even have to bring in the popular clowns from the wild.
