Thanks my equipment is almost finish next will be corals....Great looking build.
Well my tank is new therefore there is some brown algae on the glass but nothing out of control. The sunlight on shine on for a few hours.Looks real nice! Any algae issue with all the sunlights?
Thanks.
That sump is super NICE, who made it?Finally get the sump home and take a closer look. This sump is no joke wow I'm in shock of the 30" width.....
John from Advance Acrylic in socalThat sump is super NICE, who made it?
Haha that's what u get living in socal Actually it's a little bit too much sun I have to block it otherwise the algae go crazyCoolest fishroom ever I'm like frothing over here. So awesome with the natural sunlight.
Yeah I want the zero edge look so my water level is a tag high but the frag tank has no fish so just corals no one will jump outThat water level in your frag tank is a little disturbing lol!
No unless you drop a big piece of live rock in. The over flow can handle more than my input water volume. I clean the tank with the tunze magnet and I have no problemsticking your hand in wont cause it to overflow?
Well I look at an Acrylic tank at reef Palooza and I was impress with the clarity and the rounded corner. I had a Leemar star fire tank before and it doesn't look as clear as the acrylic tank. Although the draw back is scratch just go slow when u clean the tank. And yes it only take 4 person to move the tank. The steel stand is more heavierwow love this tank!
I really want a peninsula BIG tank 300+ gal some day. I keep going back and forth between glass and acrylic.
my I ask why you went acrylic? I know its alot lighter other reasons you went with it?
thanks for the post I now know about Advance Acrylic...keep the updates coming.
Thanks I'm starting to mount frag to the reef now lol the frags look tiny in this tank I guest it will take at least another year to look decent.Beautiful equipment, can't wait to see how it fills out. Love the table the frag tank is on - very nice touch.
