Acan losing heads!?

This is a beautiful colony that is starting to lose some of its heads. It’s almost as if they pop out and just float around. Not sure what’s going on or why. Have several ultra acans this is beginning to happen to and I am trying to figure out why and what to do to stop it from happening. One of the pictures is one of the heads that recently came off. Thanks!

I have never seen polyp bailout of an Acan hmm.
First I would check alk and re-check against another test kit.
Nice colony, very strange.
