Accidentally got starfish

I was getting coral and rock at my LFS and when I got home I noticed a 5 legged critter on my rock... Is this a good or bad starfish? It is in a 5 gallon bucket right now with some tank water... I have a 36 gallon with 2 clownfish and a goby and some coral. If it is good, could I keep it? And how do you take care of starfish if it is good?
If it is bad, what do I do with it?
Please help! I don't know what to do

A well established tank will keep him alive, some minor algae on the glass and odds and ends elsewhere.

I can't get any better pics I have a lifeproof so I even put my phone underwater to try... This is the best one...

It has been moving all over the bucket and all it really is, is a brown or black starfish...

I'd toss it personally. I've had the white one n they're fine I have also had the dark ones n they'll eat zoas. This is a issue of debate some agree some don't but why risk it.

No, it is a small, really dark starfish... That pic is not the same color

Sounds like you might have a winner there. I'd leave him alone. See what becomes of him.
