Hi. Looking into purchasing this light but do I have to have wifi? Seems like ALOT to setting this light up/programming it!

Yes you will need wifi in order to control the light if you plan on customizing a light schedule. Additionally, the Hydra 52 (non hd) requires the Director which will act as an access point between your router and lights. The Hydra 52 can also be programmed via the controller that AI use to manufacture before the director; in this case you don't need wifi. One last note, the lights can be cycled through 3 or 4 basic presets of varying power without the director or controller.

Wow! Glad I didn't end up winning the ebay bid on that light then! Sounds WAY to complicated to me!
