Seems healthy. Does eat. Does sometimes inflate fully. But also sometimes it’s deflated and has these wrinkles or folds in it as seen in the pic.

water parameters Seem about perfect

Just double checked. My nitrated were the highest I’ve seen them. 20 or so. Maybe even a little higher. Guessing it’s the reef Roids I just started recently.

just did a 25% water change and will skip those feedings.

Could high nitrates affect the Trachy Like this?

Alkalinity is at 7.3. That’s around where it has been in the past.

It’s a beauty. Mine retracts after it poops which it just did tonight.

Thanks. mine might’ve done that tonight. Pooped. Or it was cleaning itself off of the food I tried feeding it Earlier tonight. Tonight there was no Feeding response and when it was either pooping/cleaning itself off its mouth area was sucked in; more than I have ever seen.

This morning. Lights on 20 minutes.

Not sure why it’s upside down. Original photo is it.

Too little or too much light maybe? AI HD16. AB+. Wattage is down around 19 watts.

agree with others, inflation and deflation is normal for LPS. I still get a little worried when I see a Lobo, trachy, or acans in my tank all shriveled up, but they always bounce back in a few hours or days at most.

the folds are also normal, unless you see an injury there. I had a CBB in my tank for a few days, but he was immediately evicted as I watched him take a chunk out of my Trachy. The wounded area on the coral receded back to the skeleton, but did sloooowly recover.

Will probably pick up a Magnesium test today and maybe try and get my alkalinity up slightly..

Might be done with the Reef-Roids for a bit too.
