Agreed, aptasia doesn't have ball tips. Almost looks like a torch.

Ball anemone on top and they stay small and will not likely over populate or cause problems but caution around smaller fish as ball men’s are active at night

Ball anemone seems to be the consensus...tricky to get a clearer pic as it seems to be one for the night lights...

The battle against Aptasia continues. Heres hoping those berghia get 'busy' really quickly... Lol

Hi, I am new on here. Have had a fish only reef tank for about ten years, but recently started with soft corals after I had my first wipe out last year.
I have an Aptasia problem which I am deaLing with (got some berghia a few weeks ago), but just noticed this strange thing near my rock flower anemone. Any ideas if it's connected to the aprasia? Eggs maybe?

That's a ball anemone, which isn't actually and anemone but a mushroom coral. Perfectly harmless and reef safe, they'll breed and spread.

Aptasia update... Those Bherghia are invisible, but deadly. I haven't seen them since I put six in, but aptasia are almost all gone. Feel sorry for the little guys, they're running out of food ...
P.s. Ball nem staying put and no bother...
