I had a piece of sps start dying on me two days ago and last night I did a water changed n today I get home and it's completely dead finally the lights go out and on my piece of I find these legs on it so I pull it out and I thinks it's a bristle worm but not 100% sure
Could this be what killed my sps though?

No it won't kill stuff. It just eats dead stuff. Most detrivores in the ocean can smell death for miles. It means dinner to them.

Bummer about the coral. Acro? Sps is a big family.

Man the acro leading curve. I am right there with you. When they go they just go. IME

IME so far it can be months of not quite right "something" and suddenly just the whole thing just dies. I lost a big pink birds nest recently. That blew my mind. I've been having really good limited success with acros and I think I got the flow wrong. Big colony too grim Fiji. Ahhhhhhhhh

Speaking of flow I changed out my m1 cause I put it in my new tank to a rio something or other and so I'm having a lot less flow in my main tank and it was right in that direction so maybe that coulda done it @saltyfilmfolks
