Buffing glass

Has anyone buffed tank glass before? I have scratches on my tank at the top .. What's the easiest way to get rid of them? They aren't deep just surface scratches

Not sure it can be done on glass, but I'll tag along because if it can I got a few I'd love to fix.

Sounds pretty tough really..it would take a lot of passes with a bunch of different pads I would think...

My FIL used to work in a glass factory. According to him you can buff acrylic but not glass
