Can I cut this? Mushroom problem.

Came home from work to this thing being stretch armstrong. Is it ok to cut this off or should I attempt to reattach it somehow?

Edit. That is a rock that has detached. Its hanging on by a thread.

Cut it. It will grow another.

Yep. If you cut it, place the Little Rock somewhere because it will grow another mushroom. I was getting rid of mine and didn’t clean cut. Surprise, more mushrooms lol
