Can I get an ID please?

This is one of three pieces that showed up one day in a tank at my lfs. They have no idea where it came from and no idea what it is. I can't figure it out either.

It has polyps that extend about 1/8 of an inch off of the frag. There was nothing else in the tank that resembled this.

It looks like some kind of encrusting type monti or monti cap.

I thought it looked most like an encrusting monti, but it is much thicker than any I have seen.

Thanks! I am looking forward to see how it grows. It was a red cube and looked the same on all sides. Hoping that the right one was glued down.

Can't really see the texture or coralite, because it kinda blurry. Montipora setosa would be my first guess.

You'll need to get a photo where the coral is in focus. In each of your photos, the plug, fingers or tupperwear are in focus but the coral isn't.

Well not it's setosa. From the texture maybe one of these; Montipora undata, Montipora danae, Montipora verrucosa.
