Not seen any white poop but not sure his stomach is abnormally pinched ? Does it look like it in the photo I posted ?

Maybe instead of another prazi treatment could give him another product i got Esha NDX ?

Not familiar with that product and can't find any detailed info on it.

If I move back to the UK, it's gonna be like starting over. :p

Not even sure he has intestinal issues but got told by an expperienced reefer to medicate anyway

I saw that one, but can't find a link which lists the actual ingredients. Over in the US, we food soak metronidazole and also use a binder to eradicate intestinal worms. It's better to deliver the medication directly into the gut, where the little jerks live.

The main ingredient of esha ndx is levimasole ?

So could you give me more details about how to feed metronidazole and the binder you suggest ?

One scoop metro + one scoop Focus + one tablespoon of frozen or pellet food. Let soak for 20 minutes before feeding. Do this for 10 days, but it may take longer to clear intestinal worms since they tend to be stubborn.

That is also a good medication to use for intestinal worms.

You use this: http://www.seachem.com/metroplex.php

And this: http://www.seachem.com/focus.php

And this is how I do it:

Add the following to a shot glass:
  • 1 tablespoon of frozen food or pellets
  • Sprinkle 1 scoop of Metroplex (or any metronidazole based med) over the food
  • Sprinkle 1 scoop of Seachem Focus (or another binder) over the food
  • Add 4-5 drops of saltwater so that everything is moist
Stir it all together until a paste-like consistency is achieved. Let everything sit for 30 minutes and then you are ready to feed. You can refrigerate or even freeze any leftovers for future use.

Well I've looked into the seachem products and they are not available in the U.K. so that concoction is not feasible for me to administer :(

I don't know whether to medicate the second course of fluke solve or dose the esha NDX or the myxazin now ? Then do the CP ?

Copperband (Hitch) is eating well, lively, and looks great, barring the now tripled in size face herpes.

I'm back to thinking its lympho

We are 6 days into antibiotics.

After almost 2 weeks of kanaplex for the CBB, I did a 50% water change and they are back together again. Here they are eating a mix of frozen brine and mysis. The CBB eats the frozen begrudgingly and gives me attitude about it lol!

Congradulations! I lost my first CBB to an infection. I have another in QT right now, has a small Lympho on it's fin, but is healthy, active and eating like a pig. Three more weeks to go in QT.

Both fish are looking supremely happy and healthy. CBB lost his cauliflower lip yesterday!

I think they are both ready for the main display as soon as it's ready for them!

Well darn it! The CBB hasn't been eating well for a few days and this morning he appears to be dying.

There are no marks on him though his coloration is a bit dark.

Tank parameters are same as always. No
Ammonia, 77 degrees. I did a water change any way and threw in some carbon.

The long nose is just fine. Alert, hungry, and happy.

Super depressed. I really thought he had made it and was planning on moving them to the new display today :(

@Jofiel That is insane! So sorry to see/hear this. Do you know where he was collected from? Philippines, Indonesia, Australia?
