I am shooting for a tank up grade about March of next year 60x30x24 SPS tank, the tank will be lit by either AI or Evolution LED lights. I want to set up a smaller tank next to and plumb it into the display tank, this tank will be for Chalice corals only, this tank will be on the same stand as the display tank. My question: what size lights and what size of a tank would you suggest. I was thinking something along the lines of a 24x30x what ever you suggested on the height of the tank.

i would think a 12-18" tank would be a good canidate. good luck on the tank upgrade, i really like how you plan this over a year. i told myself that my build will be done in a couple months, its been almost a year and im still not done. good luck

:squigglemouth: Its not that I want it to take a year, I will need to upgrade all of the equipment for the new tank also, and as ya'll know, that cost. Lights, skimmer, GFO/Carbon reactors and on and on and on.
