Figured I would start my first build thread. I have a 120 deep blue ordered, te dimensions seem perfect for me 48x24x24. I need to decide on my stand though I'm thinking something a bit taller ten usual to accommodate all kinds of goodies.

This is my first tank of 50 gallons so and suggestions or idea would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I also have a 120g and I love it! It is perfect size for me and I definitely like the taller stand idea. The only thing that is annoying about that is you will need a step stool or small ladder to be able to get down into your tank. Look forward to seeing some picture!

That is my only problem with it. I assume you use a standard height stand. If so what skimmer are running and what size sump.

If the vinegar didn't do the trick, the Mr. Clean magic eraser will. Like AsphaltPays said, make sure you get the original one.

Check my build thread, it's in my signature. You have the same thing going on as what I did, I even have a 40br sump. I built my stand at 36" tall and love it, sure I use a step stool but it isn't an inconvenience.

I ended up getting this tank with stand and a sump for just over 200 bucks. I'm wondering if I can lay more pine along the stand rim to add a few inches of height.
