I believe it will be fine. Automotive windshield crack repair resin that's UV cured would bond that piece right back into place, you'd have plenty of time to get it pressed in and squeeze the air bubbles out since it only cures when you put the UV on it. Once it cures, literally 60 seconds later, razor blade the squeeze out and it's done.

That's a pretty common place for chips fwiw.

I still have the chip that broke off its nearly invisible when I put it back into its original location, any recommendations on what adhesive to use?
I only have the suggestion of using light cured cyanoacrylate. You can find it as a chip repair kit for granite. About $100.00. Includes a U.V. light for curing the cyanoacrylate.

The chip will vanish once you cover it with this. You’ll be golden down range.

Sorry for the mishap. Sucks.

Lmbo ill wrap the whole tank with this and just for a extra piece of mind I'll throw a few nails in that bottom corner where the chip is at, do you recommend a claw hammer to drive the nail in or should i go with a 20lb maul?

That is what we use for Granite. I honestly have not used it on a tank yet. But this is similar to what they use for car windshield repair. Your repair is more cosmetic than structural. So backing the seam from inside is not a bad idea either.

Ok thankyou ans is that what you would recommend for this chip as well? Also do you recommend any kind of grass reinforce in the tank? If i glue the chip with the adhesive you recommend does that bring any integrity back to the front glass or is it just for aesthetics?
