That is and is going to be a great "Frag Shack!" wish I had an out building like that to set up would never leave it!
And that's the very reason I used to make water in the bathtub!!!Your not a seasoned reefer until you've had to explain to the better half why the floor is full of water, LOL.;)
I turned my outside laundry room into half a reef, very similar to what you are doing on a smaller scale. Following...
Very cool build! I have a side yard not being used right that I could.....nevermind, wife would kill me.
I really like how you used the tile squares to raise the frag racks. Very simple and easy.
Still getting caught up but made it to the part with water hight level and thought I would throw my two cents in. I have the same frag tank and the same over flow and I have my water level sitting just below the trim. Did you run a gate valve on the drain plumbing? If not see if you can throw one in there and restrict the drain, It will get the water level up for you.
If it does the job, then good enough.I do have a gate valve on the drain, but as much as I've fought to tune the overflow I just couldn't get it to raise the level in the tank. I don't have a pic or a post about it but I ended up gluing a thin piece of acrylic over the bottom half inch or so of the teeth and it brought up to where it's right at the trim. Not the optimal fix, but it serves it's purpose for the frag tank.
Thanks. Something new everyday it seems. I’m so ready to get my 40B transferred and get things settled in so I can just sit back and enjoy hanging out in there!Coming along nicely sir.
