Putting the finishing touches into the sump all that will be left is drilling for the external pump. I'm going to wait for that to see where my plumbing is going to fall.

@Johnson that sump is massive ! But man does it look good . Are you using opaque glass for baffles ? I only ask due to the fact that I am going to redue my sump and I have thought about that .
I have used them for the baffles for the refugium compartment for light spill over. So that way you don't get unwanted algae growth else where and it was just extra glass laying around I figured I'd switch it up a bit the just regular old clear glass.

That’s great to know ! That’s exactly what I was going to use the opaque glass for was a Refugium section in my sump. So now that I know some else has used it then I will most likely be using it in my design of my new sump ! Thanks for the encouragement!!

Just make sure the baffles go up high enough to stop the spill over the top. I didn't take that into account on my first sump I built and it was a pain.

I am building my sump to a hight of 16in and my Refugium baffle is going to be 15in high . I am hopping it should work !

You’re like 1hr 30 min away. Let me know if you ever need help with this beast!
Some help would be nice I'm the only one that's gonna have any fabbing experience that is supposed to help. I have a lfs owner that said he'd lend a hand but he's probably busy with his own business.

Wooo the drawings are finally finished. Just need to email them to the company to start cutting. :) Originally the aquarium calculator told me just under 450 gallons I wonder where I lost 50 gallons.

Well another unexpected curve ball one of many so far. I emailed the manufacturer with my sizes and double checked the pricing. They responded with the acrylic almost double what they originally quoted me. So I need to shop around again.:( Any one have any ideas for dealers?
