DIY LEDs problem

I don't know what else to do with my LEDs. I think it's the apex is the problem. I have programed it just like reef LEDs link said and they still won't come on.

Not sure I bought from lfs In Jan. 11 but it was sitting on the shelf for about a year before I bought it.

do you have tha apex conected to the internet? if so let me know and i can tell you step by step how to bypass it and test them. also are you able to make ethernet wires yourself or what kind of wire do you have connected to control the ports?

Sorry to hear about that. I had an issue blowing the ports when I first wired up my LEDs (wrong). It was a very quick turnaround on the repair.

Just a quick update.

I sent my apex off to get fixed and the ports were the problem. Now just FYI if you buy any apex from any store make sure it still has a warranty. I bought my apex from a lfs that had this apex on the shelf for 18 month new in the box. I bought it in the yearly part of this year I think Feb. After they got the apex with a copy of the receipt I got a call from apex saying it was out of warranty and it would cost me $100 to fix it. I wasn't happy about it and ask why if I bought it new from my lfs why I'm getting charged to fix it I was told the warranty starts when apex send it of to lfs. So this is just a heads up to everyone looking to buy an apex.

Seems Curt is just taking every trick in the book to get out of honoring the warranty issues they are having! This is sad as they used to be a good Co to deal with, But now it seems they try and screw you every chance they can. JMO

I've had great CS from Curt with email questions answered within hours...

I really dont see how a company can warranty against a power surge.

We highly recommend you put any controller on a quality surge protected power strip or UPS.
