Do you "Like" every post you see?

What is up with all the "Likes"?
I can see it if I post something relevant to the thread or a cool picture, but when I say Hi, or welcome, 6 people "like" it .

Is there a race to see who can do the most "Likes"?

Well, when some says something nice or helpful, I like it.

Or asks a good question, welcomes a new member.......basically positive stuff.

But I do not like every post I read.

Only if it’s something I agree with or a nice pic or a funny thing. Then I react accordingly :) it’s basically my way of showing that hey I’m here and have absolutely nothing helpful or relevant to say but I got ya back.

This is the way I do it and I’m not sure if it 100% correct but it makes sense to me.

If I like something or it helped me with knowledge or furthering my reef, I “like” the post.

If people are replying to me... even if I don’t agree with advice... yet... (because I don’t know everything and sometimes it takes time to sink in), I try to “like” the fact they took the time to reply.

Yes I like post I like. Like when I see a cool post I am like would you look at that, that's a likeable post that deserves a like. Would you just like that post. Just like it! Come on just like it. Honestly, though I did like your post.

When someone joins, many of us genuinely are glad to welcome them and see them here.
Many have many nice pics and tanks and worth a like. It is part of " participation and appreciation " !
