Feeding dendrophillya

Hey!

How often should they be fed?

Mine mostly open once i have fed them - but not sure if they should be fed everyday or just a few times a week!

I would feed them one to two times a week. I have heard of dendros getting an infection from being fed too often or the pieces are to big. The food just sits inside the coral and begins to rot.

I haven't heard that but that is good to know. I just picked up a couple heads yesterday.

Yep. Couple pieces of Mysis per mouth once or twice a week is sufficient. You can overfeed them.

I'm glad you asked too. I was planning on stuffing mine full of food so it would grow quicker!

what I am not sure of is the "body" seems smaller then yours ! sorry for the bad quality ! taken with my iPhone !
