Been fallow for about 2 months or so and I have to say - I loved it!!! It’s like leaving the kids at grandmas for the weekend and enjoying yourself. Corals and inverts are easy to care for. Fish can be tricky. Anyway, to start things off, I bought two anthias. My first time keeping this fish. I picked the 2 healthiest ones. Get home and one is dead. Other was looking great. Doing great in tank so far.

My question is: has anyone that has kept this fish observed them actually eating pods? My tank runneth over with various types. I’m not joking when I say my tank looks like it has lice. It’s crawling with tons of pods. The bigger ones like munnid isopods are everywhere. I hope this new addition will cut them down and feed him well.

Thanks!!!

I think @4FordFamily can give some pretty good advice.

I’ve not kept Anthias successfully, so I’m not much help but I wish you the best! They do eat pods, in fact most fish do! :)
