Friday night update:
The trisodium phosphate from loudwolf showed up and I made my first batch of phosphate solution from it. Using this calculator:
http://www.theplantedtank.co.uk/calculator.htm
The total amount in the bottle I ordered is 113 grams.
Here’s the run down on how I dosed my system:
My total water in my system is 240 gallons ish.
Using 2 teaspoons of trisodium phosphate mixed into 475 ml (2 cups) of RO/DI water.
Adding 7 ml of this solution would raise my phosphate to 0.07ppm.
I’m out of reagents for my Hanna checker at this moment, but will order some tonight.
I did dose 7 ml to the tank. Why do this? Because I know when my Montipora caps pale a little, there is most likely no or little P04 in the system.
Give it a day or two and I’ll see if it helped.
