Hey everyone,

I have recently signed up on Reef2Reef just over a month ago. I've been enjoying this forum, its always current and has great threads that are interesting to read. So a little thanks to all the members and people who manage this forum. Anyway, i decided to finally set up a thread about my current tank/current projects in the salt water hobby. Its about a year old, it is a 45 gallon marineland cube well not exacly a cube but the dimensions are 24"x24"x18".
I currently have a 250 watt double ended metal halide, runnin off an ice cap ballast.
Couple nano koralias for water movement, i also have an mp10 but the propellor is damaged so im waiting for a new one to come in.
bubble magus nac7 skimmer
and some marineland return pump
Pretty much a mixed reef tank, i dont really dose much, just Reef advantage calcium about 1 teaspoon 3 times a week, and 1 teaspoon of Reef builder for alk.
my parameters are
0.03 - phos hanna checker
alk - 3 meq/l
8.1 ph seachem
nirate undetectable - im assuming its being absorbed before i can read it
ammonia & nitrite - undetecable
calcium - varies from 420 - 440
my temp is at 78
and salinity 1.024
