Glueing Dry Rock

Anyone have any advice on glueing live rocks? What to use?

My girlfriend wants an arch in the new nano tank and I got 25 pounds of dry rock but Im nervous about it falling over in the tank.
No drill so i can't do acrylic rods or zip ties so I need some kind of glue/epoxy I can go buy.

I used jb water weld and hidden zip ties(drilled rock).

Thanks man I just got some jb water weld and it worked great so far. I've got it out of water just waiting for it to cure. I'm gonna assume that it doesn't need to be in the water to cure but rather it has the ability to cure in water?

I used Marco rocks cement then for extra support after it dried I used epo putty. I also used polycarbonate rods.

I've also used the marine pudding you can pick up at boat shop.

How did you like the Marco rocks mortar? That's what I planned to get but I wanted something I could try today. If the jb doesn't work then I'll likely go with the mortar

I liked it, incredibly strong after it dries, but you have to figure out a way to hold the rocks together until it dries which takes quite a long time.

Gel glue and letting it set/dry worked well for me.

I used jb waterweld and let it dry for a day and it held decently but I grabbed the structure by the piece that was glued on and it came apart so just used more jb to put it back together and I think it will work well for me as long as I don't lift the structure by the glue

It may be more expensive than other 2 part materials, but it hardens very fast

Just checked my structure and its rock solid. I made sure to use enough jb this time. The tunze looks like a better product but just a little too expensive for just holding my rocks together. Might buy some for coral placement though. Thanks Finn.

It definitely is quite a bit more, but I found it useful for making a wider base for corals like branching hammers and torch corals that have several heads, but a slender stalk.
Once you have the wider base, then regular super glue gel works where it wouldn't have before.
