Good Idaa or Not?

I've finally got some time and money to do some upgrades on my setup and one
thing I was planning on doing was to put in a second pump on my top off water.

The current pump sends water from my RO/DI barrel through my KW reactor and
into the sump. I was thinking about adding a second pump to pump in straight
RO/DI water if the PH in the system is above 8.3 and Water with Kalk if it is below
(I would have my controller programmed to control this).

Any one see any down side to doing it this way?

so if i understand it right - the first check is if the water is level, if it isn't, the rodi pumps water thru the KW reactor. now you are changing it so that the first check is if the water is level, the controller then checks the ph - and then chooses which pump to start? Sounds solid to me. Is Ph over 8.3 creating problems?

That's pretty much the sequence

I evaporate at least 3 gallons a day in winter so it is a lot to
run through the reactor, it should help with the pH swings.
