Hi all, im Qasim from South Africa. Been in the hobby for about 4 years now. Now on my 3rd tank.
Started off with a 30 gallon FOWLR.
Upgraded after a year or so to a Juwel 450 (120 gallon), also FOWLR. Tried one or 2 corals here and there, unsuccessfully. Never really pursued keeping of coral at that time as i thought it too much of an expense/headache... guess the hobby grows on you, even after years right? :) Ran that tank until May/June this year.
Currently have a 220 gallon for the past few months . Moved over livestock etc from previous tank and started small with a bit of coral and a couple of anemones. Have mostly soft and leather corals with a few small SPS.
Have heard good things about this forum from some local reefers, so here i am.
Looking forward to learning more and hopefully sharing some of my experience where possible.
