Hi There,

Thanks for the welcome. I am new to marine aquariums and set up my new tank 2/1/18 after tons of research and discussion with the owner of a local aquatics store that has an amazing selection of salt water everything, Zen Aquatics. Amazing service and great advice that had me return the ridiculous setup I was trying to put together. I've always loved aquariums, but always stayed with freshwater since I've always been told how hard it is to maintain a marine tank. I believe if you have a passion for something you'll figure it out, so here I am. :)

I live in Palm Springs, California and love the weather here. I also love the ocean, so what a great way to bring a bit of the ocean to the desert. Looking forward to learning from you all and hopefully at some point the ability to support others as they begin their journey.

Here’s my tank. Just a couple clowns for now. Taking things very slow.

Welcome to R2R Phil. How big is the tank?

24 Gallons. Not too big and not too small. LOL Starting to see some growth on the rocks. Researching when to add the CUC now.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Welcome to R2R! You've got fish in there it's ok to add CUC. Just add a few at this point. Check out Ninja Star Snails. Cool looking and are relentless cleaners.

Welcome to R2R Phil! Awesome looking clowns! Since you're in Cali, put Reefapalooza on your calendar now. The CA show is in Oct. It's a MUST for anybody in the hobby.
