So I've had this stone and it had a spa attached to it but the spa died so I just left the stone in the back of the tank n there was this thing on it and I just recently refound the stone and it's grown and I was wondering what it was

Looks like what pops up in my tank on objects. It is some sort of worm. It creates a spiral shell that is attached to whatever the larvae landed on.
 
there is a opening on the top of it and yeah something does pulse going in and out of it but it never fully comes out

does it hurt your tank what do you do with them?

No it just keep spiraling as it grows. The shell is real hard. Mine grow on the underside of LPS, on powerheads pretty much anywhere the lighting is low. I think they are filter feeders since i never saw the worm. Even while i feed it makes no appearance.

I just leave them be. Occasionally i break one off while cleaning or adjusting a powerhead. They break off with a little force where they attach.
