Hi. I'm trying to find out what's wrong with my True Percula clownfish. I bought one several months ago and it's been doing fine. We bought a baby one at the same time so they could be a pair and it died within 3 days but the bigger one was fine. She's been alone and healthy the whole time we had her and we finally decided to get her another partner so we picked out a small one that had been at the fish store for a month and looked healthy and active. We added him and she got mad so we had to put her in a mesh breeder basket for 2 days to calm her down. She seemed depressed so we finally let her out and they became friends right away. We did notice she was breathing heavy but figured just stress. A few weeks later she started looking a bit like she was shedding and her gills were constantly out and going faster so we set up ISO but by the time it was ready (3 days to get temp right) she started looking a bit better and her appetite had picked back up. We have people from the fish store do our water changes to make sure it's done right and they came out about a week or so ago and took a look at her and said she looked pretty good and still not to put her in ISO b/c it's better if she can get better on her own (which she had been doing over the last several weeks) but they also said we could add Ich Attack just in case since that's the only reef safe meds we have. So we've been adding it for a week now...just the 7.5 tsps for a 75 gallon tank. She has gotten worse again. Now her gills are way out and going fast and her right gill is swollen and has something on it and her right side is nearly covered in white stuff (like she's shedding). The male also looks like he's getting what she has b/c he has the early part of it. They both have long stringy white poop and hardly any appetite. I originally thought it was Brooklynella so that's why I set up ISO and fish store gave me some meds I could use but that was when she started looking better.They mostly hover separately over different zooanthids. I'm still medicating but now not sure what to do. Please help! I don't want to lose my clowns.
