so i ran across this site and love it. thought i would drop in and say hello to everyone.

we have a 90 gallon reef tank. currently with pc's but looking to upgrading to t5's.

It was previously a fish only tank with nice mature rabbitfish, angels, eel... etc... and then disaster hit about 6 months ago. I was out of town for a week. Had someone coming over every couple of days to feed my fishes. I guess after she left from here after feeding one day some neighborhood kids though it would be fun to turn off our main power switch. needless to say when my person coming to feed came back the house was without power and all my precious babies were floaing. It was devistating. :crybaby:

After cleaning everything up. we decided to do the tank this time as a docile fish reef tank. I decided to stick with softies and such since i seem to prefer them anyway, and dont really wanna do halides.

So the rebuilding process began and now is looking like a fish tank again. I currently have several types of zoos, mushrooms, lettuce sponge, star polyps, gorgoinia, sea fan, 2 types of star polyps and one large ritteri.

As far as fish go i have:::: 3 cardinals, 3 lyretail anthias, two true percs, citron clown goby, pygmy cherub angel, midas blenny, green mandarin, and a many banded pipefish. I am happy with all my fish. I know the gobies are usually inexpensive but they are some of my favoirtes, they just are so cute, they make me smile. cant wait to get a few more of them.

I also have a mated pair of banded coral shrimp, a few serpent stars (but you never see them), a few peppermint shrimp, and some blue legged crabs.

Well i think thats about it for now. Just thought i would introduce myself and my tank. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

- Amanda

thanks! well i used to have a big camera and decided i was tired of lugging it around all the time. so i downsized last year.
for these pics i used a sony cybershot 8.1 megapixels and i gotta tell you i love it. takes great pics, very small, and easy to use.
i went to curacao last month so did a lot of diving so even bought the marine housing unit for it so i can take it underwater. works great!
