How many tanks do you own?

I've gotten out of the hobby before because I was overwhelmed by having to take care of 4 tanks at once.. I recently started back up with 1 tank...well, that quickly turned into 2...and now we have a 3rd tank ready for when we get a house..

I almost feel like I'm falling in too deep again and hope I don't lose the enjoyment of the hobby.

I'm curious about others...how many tanks do you guys have? Do you feel that it's too many or would you want more?

I have 5 cubes In my house and have a tank in my sons 4th grade class all of which are reef tanks So yes im addicted . FHO SHO LOL :)
my tanks at home 6g JBJ Nano, 14g biocube, 30g oceanic, 45g Marineland, and a Glass cages Rimless 240g and yes it can be a lot of work and get overwhelming at times. But i really enjoy my tanks. Unfortunately right now im unable to take care of them with my recent leg surgery so im thinking of selling or just breaking down a few until im 100 percent again.

I have at least ten tanks around, but only two have water in them ;) I prefer not to run more than one display, but I also have a QT running 24/7. If I didn't travel for work I would likely have at least another tank filled...

You have to make sure that you're enjoying the hobby and not burn yourself out or look at it as work, otherwise what's the point?

I have my 28 Gallon AIO Reef, the 46 Gallon Bowfront FOWLR, 35 Gallon Macro Algae Tank, 45 Gallon Aquatic Turtle Tank, and my 55 Gallon Terrarium/Fire Belly Toad Tank.
There is an empty 29 gallon in the garage and 2 drilled 10 gallons.
1 tank is never enough!!!!!!!!

I have 2 Tanks,1 SPS 1 LPS. I think that the more tanks you have equal more upkeep/work=less time to enjoy. That IMO kinda defeats the purpose of getting as much enjoyment out of a reef tank as possible. I have all kinds of expensive gadgets to keep maintenance at a minimum, but with all that it still takes 3-4 hrs a week to keep up.

I had 11 up and running at one point,I didnt get tired of it,loved it,kept me busy actully,no I have other things to do.

I took those all down this year,ran out of room and family member moved in,now I have 2 tanks,frag system and 125 display.No longer breeding clownfish.

Currently a 29 Bio Cube and a 90 that are set up. Both as reefs. Also have a 120 and an 80 gallon cylinder that are in the works. The 120 will be a reef and the 80 will be FOWLER. We need to find someone who can refurb the cylinder for us.

i had 4 tanks going at once and realized it was tooo much! 90 gallon mixed reef, 170 ray/big fish tank, 24 aqua pod nems/clowns, and a 20 long frag.....ahhh

By far my 240g is the best and it has 26ish fish and over 120 different corals and frags it seem to be a more stable system. Of course it would be with 300g of water and ATO

I currently only have 1 tank. I have everything but the stand for setup #2. Display tank is 120g mixed reef with about a dozen fish and who knows how many corals and frags. Tank #2 is a 33g shallow tank and will be set up as a lagoon style sps tank. Some sand and low rocks across the bottom only.

Haha... I've got a 300 gallon SPS Reef, 75 gallon frag/Challice tank, 55 QT, 36 QT 75 QT and a 20 QT. I spend a lot of time working on my tanks but I enjoy it. I do a lot of water changes though...

That's what I really want to do! I wanted my 180 to be a huge display and have my 46 bowfront as a sort of sump/frag tank...


Man...some of you guys have a LOT of tanks :P

ive got 6 running currently, but the most ive had up was 11.
my next setup is to finish my 180 to combine 2 sw tanks and then im going to combine some fw tanks.
