How to feed candy cane coral

So recently got a candycane coral as a freebie and its colors have been getting deeper and more vibrant so I guess thats a good sign, but I heard you are suposed to feed them. How in the world do I feed it?

Target feed with a turkey baster or similar feeder.
Moderate light and water flow and Feed 2-3X per week, such as reef roid.

Ohh so they stick them out when their closed up.

Like any other LPS, once you feed them a few times they will learn and will start to show their tentacles more often. Like said above Reef Roids paste at first then mysis and more chunky food as they grow.

Mine have been taking LPS pellets pretty consistently now but when I first got them I felt the same way you did ;Hilarious I have two straws pushed into one another that I use to target feed them after I turn off all the flow. If your trying to do it in the day time its typically more challenging to get it to land in the right spot but once it does they'll start moving around and pulling it in, much easier to do it at night with a dimmer flashlight when they extend they're feeding tentacles and they eat it much faster.

Ohh so they stick them out when their closed up.

Mine never have them out during the day. Nice and plump during the day and they shrink up after lights out and almost always have their tentacles out. Probably one of the easier LPS to feed IME.

Good I idea with the straws, that will be helpfull when trying to feed my mushrooms.
